Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy

To help us manage our schedule effectively, we ask that you inform us at least 24 hours or more in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment or you can reschedule via online booking. This notice allows us to offer the time slot to another patient in need of care.

Please note that if you miss two booked appointments, we will see you as walk-in only.

We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment. This is to ensure that we get you ready for your doctor’s appointment.

Please bring your Alberta Health Care Card  and valid ID.

To ensure we can provide you with the best care, please notify our team of any updates to your contact information, such as a new address, phone number, email, or emergency contact. Having up-to-date details allows us to communicate with you promptly and deliver efficient, reliable service.

Thank you for helping us keep our records accurate!

At Woodlands Medical Clinic, we are dedicated to protecting the confidentiality of your personal health information. Your privacy is a top priority, and we follow strict protocols to ensure your records are secure. If a third party, such as a family member, insurance provider, or legal representative, needs access to your medical information, we will request your written consent before sharing any details. We are committed to handling your information with respect and care, ensuring your privacy at every step.

Woodlands Medical Clinic follows the Alberta Medical Association’s Uninsured Services Fee Guide. Please be aware that certain services may incur additional fees, which are not covered by Alberta Health Care.

For more information on Fee Guide, please call our clinic.
